Privacy & accessibility
Last updated 2026. This page explains what this prep guide stores, why, and how you can control it.
What we store
- On your device. Your procedure date, admission time, name, ticked checklist items, dose timing changes, diet selections and printing preferences are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device unless you sign up for reminders.
- In our secure database. If you sign up for reminders or send us a message, we store your email address, the reminder milestones you chose, your procedure date and any notes you provide.
- Delivery records. We keep a log of reminder emails sent to you so we can confirm delivery and avoid duplicates.
How we use it
We use your details only to send the prep reminders you asked for and to answer your enquiries. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising. Aggregated, non-identifying page analytics help us improve the guide.
Your choices
- Email reminders require you to confirm your address before anything is sent.
- Browser push reminders only work after you allow notifications, and you can pause or revoke them at any time from your prep dashboard or your browser's site settings.
- Clearing your browser data removes everything stored on this device, including your checklist progress.
- To access, correct or delete the information we hold, contact the clinic using the details on our contact page.
Medical information notice
This guide is general preparation information and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Follow the prep instructions as detailed unless your doctor or the staff at the clinic advise otherwise. Call our clinic if you have questions about medications, diet or timing.
Accessibility
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. This guide is built with semantic headings and landmarks, a skip-to-content link, visible keyboard focus, labelled form fields and buttons, and text that reflows on small screens.
A large-print option is available for the one-page printable checklist, and every PDF and calendar export can be read with assistive technology. If any part of this guide is hard to use, please tell us and we will help you directly and fix it.
